Columbia Falls police arrest a 16-year-old

Columbia Falls police arrested a 16-year-old girl in a one-vehicle accident just after 12:30 a.m. She was ticketed on suspicion of eluding a police officer, among other things.

The activity in the high school's west parking lot at noon was suspicious, a caller told police. The department is investigating.

A 26-year-old man was ticketed on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on U.S. 2 near the Falls Station early Tuesday.
