Kalispell police arrest a 31-year-old woman

Kalispell police arrested a 31-year-old woman for felony possession of dangerous drugs after a stop on Commons Loop near the Glacier Bank corporate building.

The vehicle on Second Avenue East had a pistol in it, the owner told police, until the gun turned up stolen.

And the truck on Woodland Avenue East had a good window in it until somebody broke it out, the owner said.

The bike stolen from a garage on Fifth Avenue West reportedly was worth $25.

Two calls came in about a cat that was hit at South Woodland and Quincy Loop, with another cat sitting in the road next to it. The owner came to the rescue.

It turned out to be an electrical short that filled Hedges School with smoke just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Prescription medication was reported stolen from a room at an assisted-living home.

He showed up at the adult probation office intoxicated and blew a .172 percent blood-alcohol content, so the DUI offender on probation went to jail.

An ex-employee of a heating business was reported for unauthorized use of the company's gas card, running up an $800 charge.

Two men in a silver Honda allegedly stole tools from the back of construction vehicles at the Red Lion Hotel Kalispell.

A man watching birds along the river at Lawrence Park was approached by a scruffy-bearded, bike-riding man who made unsettling comments and asked whether the park visitor wanted to perform sexual favors for him.
