Whitefish police handed a 32-year-old Whitefish man his third DUI citation after stopping him Sunday night on Wisconsin Avenue.

An older gentleman had just planted a colorful pot of flowers Sunday to spruce up the front of the Senior Citizens Center on West Second Street. They had enough beauty and size to be valued at $100. He passed away Monday. That's the same day the new flowers were reported stolen.

Somebody witnessed a man assault a boy Monday in the Whitefish Middle School parking lot. Police are investigating.

Salt in the gas tank and spray paint on heavy equipment marred an otherwise nice job site in Creekwood Subdivision.

A boat, camping equipment and tent were reported stolen from a carport on Minnesota Avenue.

A man reportedly tried to lure a 6-year-old boy into a motel room by asking whether he wanted to play cards Monday. The boy's mother thwarted the attempted misdeed.

Somebody stole a skateboard at Whitefish High School.

A dislodged flag was found and returned to its proper pole downtown Monday.
