Kalispell police charged a 31-year-old woman with DUI, careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident Tuesday night. Within minutes it was discovered she had been assaulted by her boyfriend at the Finish Line bar, but she would not press charges.

Threats to kill a woman and everyone in the house at Glacier Circle, a 28-year-old man said, were going to be carried out by him, and he was going to get a gun right then. His plans were thwarted.

A man harassing a medical-office employee pledged to stop contacting her after police responded to her complaint and talked with him.

Criminal mischief and disorderly conduct were the charges filed against a 14-year-old girl at Sinopah House Tuesday evening.

Help was summoned for a young boy, possibly dehydrated, at North Main at the Triangle Building.

Shots being fired just were not the sounds a man expected to hear while watering the community garden Tuesday night. They came from the Liberty Street area, he said.

Police are checking into a threatening note that a Liberty Street resident came home to find on the door.

Knocking on a side door at a Second Street West house just before 1:30 a.m. started it all. Nobody could be found outside the house when police arrived, but they eventually tracked down a boy at the Town Pump nearby and charged him with being a minor in possession and possessing dangerous drugs. He was released to his dad's custody.

Another boy was arrested on Meridian Road near the Appleway Conoco for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to his mom's custody.

Yelling and throwing things near the Kalispell Center Mall after 2 a.m. got a man a talking-to from police.

People reported two instances of soap poured into gas tanks.

Hooky-bobbing on a skateboard behind a pickup truck was a bad idea. Not only was it potentially risky, it got a group on Fifth Street West some negative police attention Wednesday afternoon.
