Man conveniently arrested near jail

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called to the McGregor Lake campgrounds late Friday night after a woman reported her boyfriend assaulted her and then stole her car. Kalispell police located the stolen vehicle at the Albertsons parking lot in Kalispell. The driver tried to speed away through downtown, but officers deployed stop sticks that blew three of his four tires. He was eventually pulled from his car and arrested in front of the Earl Bennett building. Police are still investigating.

A repo man found drug paraphernalia in a car he was taking and called police.

Three juveniles were caught rolling rocks down an embankment and onto the roadway on the east shore of Foy's Lake. Police made them clear the rocks and go home.

Police surprised some kids vandalizing cars with spray paint in Forest Acres.

Police were called to apprehend a man cutting the battery cables off cars parked at his former employer's residence.

Mailboxes were smashed along Riverside Drive in Bigfork.
