Armed robbery suspect still at large

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies are still looking for an armed robbery suspect in his late teens or early 20's who robbed or tried to rob three convenience stores last week. He is between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing a baggy hooded sweatshirt and red bandana. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 758-7780.

The peeping Tom on Sunrise Terrace struck again Tuesday. Deputies responded to a call that the victim's husband was chasing the peeper down on foot, but deputies were unable to catch him. Police are continuing to patrol the area.

Deputies responded Tuesday to a woman who said her sister was throwing large rubber rocks at her. She claimed assault with a deadly weapon.

Police picked up an 52-year-old intoxicated bicyclist Tuesday. The same man was later seen just down the road with a 12 pack of beer, again on his bicycle.

Three males were seen casing cars in the Wal-mart parking lot in Kalispell, police said. They were also observed going into the store, leaving the store, changing their clothes and then going back into the store.

A Columbia Falls man called deputies to report that his 10-year-old quarter horse was shot and killed by a small caliber bullet Monday night or Tuesday morning. The horse had already been buried when police arrived.

A woman who had been drinking ran up to her husband, assaulted him in her pajamas, then ran away, police said.

Two cars hit logs strewn about U.S. 93 after they were knocked off a truck that couldn't quite clear a bridge.
