A Kalispell man involved in a Saturday evening crash at the intersection of Farm to Market Road and West Valley Drive died Thursday from injuries suffered in the wreck.

Paul Mosby, 21, was northbound on West Valley Drive in a Subaru station wagon when he ran a stop sign and collided with a Jeep Cherokee westbound on Farm to Market Road, according to Montana Highway Patrol trooper Glen Barcus.

According to witnesses, Mosby never slowed before entering the intersection. There is no stop sign for traffic on Farm To Market at that intersection.

Mosby was taken by ALERT helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with severe head injuries.

He remained in critical condition there until his death Thursday, according to Flathead County coroners.

Mosby was not wearing a seat belt.

The 25-year-old woman driving the Jeep was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. She was transported via ground ambulance to Kalispell Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Alcohol, drugs, or excessive speed do not appear to be factors in the crash, said Barcus.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.
