The Smith Valley Fire Department and Department of Natural Resources and Conservation extinguished a half-acre wildfire near Ashley Lake Road.

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to Big Horn Drive, where a truck caught on fire while the owner was winterizing it.

The department also responded to Haywire Gulch, where reports of a fire turned out to be loggers at work.

Bigfork ambulance responded to Electric Avenue, where a woman pushing another woman in a wheelchair slipped and sent them both tumbling down the stairs. One suffered a bump on the head; the other was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a campground on Helena Flats Road for a propane leak.

A man with salsa in his eye showed up at the Three Rivers EMS ambulance barn looking for help. He was not taken to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a mall on U.S. 93 for a possible gas leak.
