In later years he was involved in fund raising for Pacific Lutheran University and Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp.

After raising her family, Liv Anne was employed in the banking industry. She traveled all over the world including trips to Australia where her sister, Tele, resides with her husband, Tom. Her brother, Oystein, lives in Kalispell with his wife, Gail.

Liv Anne had a passion for skiing and hiking. She taught community classes in the Norwegian language, baking and knitting. She also sewed and delivered doll clothes to orphanages in Russia. She served as past president of the Pacific Lutheran University Women's Club and was active in Lutheran church organizations. Her daughter, Kim, works for Alaska Airlines in Seattle. Her son, Tim, of Mercer Island, Wash., and his wife, Lisa are the parents of her cherished grandsons, Eric, 13, and Parker, 7.
