Not an en'deer'ing Christmas ornament

A neighbor came onto a woman's South Hilltop Drive property and hung a dead deer in one of her trees. The neighbor then cut off the deer's head, in front of the woman's children. She called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies and asked the neighbor to remove the carcass. He did.

A 15-year-old boy on Sunset Drive didn't want to go to school. Deputies spoke with the boy, who then went to class.

A concerned resident called deputies thinking that a backhoe crossing the Old Steel Bridge might weigh too much for the structure to support. The county's road department said it wasn't.

A Browns Meadow Road woman notified deputies after her son-in-law called from Louisiana and threatened to kill her and her daughter.

Several items were stolen from a car on Young Lane. The owner insists she locked the door, but there were no signs of forced entry.

Someone stole the money out of the shake-a-day jar at a bar on U.S. 2 and Montana 40.

A cat and her two kittens were found abandoned on Willow Glen Drive. The shelter was full, so the person who found the cats agreed to take care of them until there is room.

A woman refused to give her husband the keys to the car and an argument ensued. The couple agreed to separate for the night.

An unwanted gentleman was seen parked outside a Martin City woman's Spotted Bear Road residence. She was advised to get a restraining order.

A woman, who had been drinking, was spotted sitting in the parking lot of a Hungry Horse business. A concerned passerby bought her a room at a nearby motel.

A Martin City resident saw a man, who had been drinking, hiding in the barn in the rear of his First Avenue South property.

A wheelchair was stolen from Glacier Park International Airport.
