Man was angry, but not suicidal

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called about a suicidal man yelling at another person on Browns Meadow Road in Kila. Turns out he wasn't suicidal, but he was yelling. Deputies separated the pair.

A man was arrested for partner assault and on an outstanding warrant in the parking lot of a bar near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40.

In a separate incident, a woman reported being "nearly sexually assaulted" at the same bar. Deputies interviewed her at North Valley Hospital. She opted not to press charges.

Somebody set off a car alarm in the parking lot of a store on U.S. 93 South. The suspect in the attempted theft took off in late '90s Chevrolet Blazer.

A car was keyed on Caroline Road.

A .38-caliber revolver and a lot of change were stolen from a home on Lake Blaine Road.

A woman and her ex-husband got into a fight on Hartt Hill Drive. Deputies counseled the former couple.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for partner assault on Blanchard Lake Road.

A fire started by transients behind a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, probably to keep warm, was extinguished.

A county vehicle was damaged by a flying rock on North Fork Road. The headlight was busted.

A 15-year-old boy who ran away from his North Hill Road home was caught and returned.

A 13-year-old boy was caught shoplifting a MP3 player from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

Deputies convinced a man, who had been drinking, to leave a Nicholson Drive residence where he wasn't wanted.

A pit bull was stolen from a Berne Road residence. It was taken off its chain. A second pit bull was left behind.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for partner assault after allegedly pushing his girlfriend at a cabin on U.S. 2 in Coram.

A 13-year-old boy ran away from the Flathead Attention Home.

A "very large" bear was reported running south on Helena Flats Road.

A 55-year-old man was arrested for assault on a minor after allegedly hitting his 15-year-old son with a belt. The case was forwarded to the Sheriff's Office via the Department of Child and Family Services.
