Lakeside man Tasered for resisting arrest

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies busted through a door to serve a warrant on a 35-year-old Lakeside man. The man was outside a Woodacres Drive home when deputies approached him. He ran inside and tried to push the arresting officers back through the doorway. He was shot with a Taser for his troubles. A 23-year-old woman, also at the residence, was arrested for obstructing.

A woman on Pebble Drive called deputies to complain about a neighbor parking in her driveway. She canceled the complaint when deputies arrived.

A phone cable was cut near the Ferndale firehall. It was determined to be an accident and the parties involved worked it out.

A wolf-like dog appeared to injured on Belton Stage Road.

A woman on Meadowlark Drive told deputies she was getting harassing phone calls from somebody else's brother-in-law.

Kids were riding four-wheelers on private property near the end of Three Mile Drive.

A tenant on Franlou Park Lane called deputies to report his landlord for trespassing when he came to serve an eviction notice.

Phones were stolen from a building on U.S. 2.

A welding instrument was taken from a Quonset hut on Harmony Road.

A red Honda Passport was stolen from a Fourth Street East home.

A woman on Ridgewood Drive told deputies her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend took things from her home.

An employee of a South Complex Drive business is accused of stealing money. The incident is under investigation.

A man's former business associate stole his credit card number to take out a DSL account.

Windows were broken out of a car and a garage on U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls.

A train hit a tractor-trailer on a U.S. 2 railroad crossing. There were no injuries.

A chain saw and other tools were stolen from an unlocked garage on Wettington Drive.

A man was spotted spanking his 4-year-old child in the parking lot of a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. Deputies checked the kid out and determined there were no signs of physical injuries.

A woman's car slid off the road and into a ditch on Anderson Lane. There were no injuries.

Detention officers confiscated a shiv made from a sharpened toothbrush at the Flathead County Detention Center. It was found in the hallway.
