A man with a cut lip at Kalispell Regional Medical Center reported being hit by another man early Sunday morning at the Blue Moon in a fight about women, the Flathead County Sheriff's Office reported .

A Bigfork man fired a gun into the ground to scare away a bear in his orchard Sunday afternoon. He noticed the bear's hindquarters dragged as it moved. Wildlife officials were notified.
