The Bigfork Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Montana 35.

ALERT, the Canyon Quick Response Unit, and the Martin City Fire Department responded First Avenue South in Martin City where a 44-year-old woman overdosed on pills and alcohol. She was taken by helicopter to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to an electrical fire at an insurance company on North Meridian Road. The Kalispell police department, however, was on scene first and extinguished the blaze with a fire extinguisher. No injuries were reported. The business sustained minor damage.

The fire department would like to remind residents during Fire Prevention Week to check smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and practice an escape plan.
