Kalispell police called the Hungry Horse post office to diffuse a situation in which an irate customer was threatening to make a citizen's arrest on the employees there.

Officers arrested a 66-year-old man on a Lincoln County warrant after they found him sleeping in his car on Fourth Avenue East North.

A person came into the police department to report that a stolen paycheck had been cashed.

A woman's ex-boyfriend stole the rims off her car on Appleway Drive.

Officers notified a man about an outstanding Flathead County warrant when he called the station to report that his soon-to-be ex-wife was taking a van she had previously expressed no interest in.

A woman on Farview Drive reported her 16-year-old daughter took beer and whisky from their home.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, and on a warrant after he was spotted skulking around cars and a concerned neighbor called police.

Officers checked out a Main Street building after a woman thought she heard something upstairs. There was nobody there.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for partner assault after possibly breaking his wife's jaw. He took off, but officers spied him hiding in a Second Avenue West alley. The woman was taken to the hospital.
