Columbia Falls police recovered a gun reported stolen in Kalispell. The latest owner got a good deal on it and brought it by the station to get checked out.

A 60-year-old man was arrested for assault after kicking in the back door of a house on Franlou Park Lane.

A woman on Eighth Street East let a man test drive the car she was going to sell him. He said he would return the next day with the money, at which point she would sign over the title. He never returned. This was in April.

Someone tried to pawn a gun with an altered serial number. Officers are investigating.

A man appeared to be taking pictures of children outside a school on Fourth Avenue. He told officers he was taking pictures of trees.
