Whitefish spikers sweep Polson

WHITEFISH ? Brielle Menegazzie had 13 kills and two blocks while Hailey Farmin tallied 23 assists Tuesday to lead the Whitefish High School volleyball team to a 25-22, 25-13, 25-14 sweep of Polson.

The Bulldogs out-killed the Pirates, 31-22, and served five more aces.

The victory improved the Bulldogs to 10-2 in conference play. They will face Columbia Falls on Thursday in C-Falls in the regular-season finale. The Northwestern A divisional tournament is in Ronan.

?We?ve still got some fine tuning to do on defense and just making sure everyone is aware of everyone else on the floor,? Whitefish coach Jackie Fuller said.

Nichole Davey paced Polson with seven kills and two blocks.
