A vigilant resident called Kalispell police to report four men with cowboy hats, dark clothes and plastic bags had been walking around the west side of town for two hours. Officers found three middle-aged men toting their lunches around.

A woman said her child was sexually assaulted by another student at a Kalispell elementary school.

A woman used vulgar language and threatened employees at a barber shop on Second Avenue West.

Guys with loud music and a bonfire in the front yard garnered a couple of complaints on East Center Street.

Someone is harassing a woman on behalf of her ex-husband.

A white SUV full of teenagers pulled up beside a woman on Fourth Avenue East-North. The front passenger, who wore a black bandana over his mouth and a black beanie on his head, held up a handgun and chain and tried to get her to roll her window down. She fled and called police.

A guy with a beanie and a bike screamed profanities at people on West Idaho Street. He was advised to go home.

A man warned a guy to stay out of the neighborhood after catching him rifling through a neighbor's vehicle on Fourth Street East.

Officers chased youths on foot off East Idaho Street toward Woodland Park. They caught one boy, who was arrested on suspicion of minor in possession and curfew violation.

Police arrested a runaway girl from Mineral County on suspicion of probation violation.

An unlocked pickup was stolen on Airport Road.

The new ice rink in Woodland Park was vandalized.
