Marlene Janis (Letts) Bradford, 70, passed away of natural causes Oct. 23, 2007, in Kalispell.

She was born Sept. 18, 1937, in Wenatchee, Wash., to Harry C. and Elsie M. Letts. She was raised in Montana and educated in Flathead County.

On July 28, 1955, Marlene married Robert J. Bradford in Kalispell at the home of his parents, James and Clara Bradford.

Marlene was the best, most dedicated, loyal, loving and nurturing sister, wife, daughter, mother and friend. She was the most beautiful, funny and gracious grandma, who was there for everyone, always. "Thank you!"

Besides her deep love for her family and friends, Marlene enjoyed many hobbies and interests, among them crocheting, drawing and painting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Terry Lee Letts and Dale E. Letts.

Marlene is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Bradford; sons, James and Mitch; daughters, Tamara McNulty and Deborah Long; two grandsons; seven granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Harriet Fuger, Deanna Letts, Larry Letts, Susan Daugherty and Vicki Fuger.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 2 at Glacier Memorial Gardens, 2659 U.S. 93 N., in Kalispell.
