Darryle James (Haegele) Shearman, 45

Darryle James (Haegele) Shearman, 45, of Spokane passed away Tuesday Aug. 21, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, of cancer. Darryle was born July 6, 1962, in Bozeman, the son of Sherrilynn (Jensen) and Darryle Glen Shearman.

Darryle came to Kalispell in 1969 and graduated from Flathead High School in 1980. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for four years and then was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Darryle; Grandmother and Grandfather Shearman; and Grandad Jensen, all of Belgrade.

Darryle is survived by his daughter, Gwen, the light of his life, of North Carolina; parents, George and Sherrilynn Haegele, of Kalispell; brothers, Rick, of Kalispell, Mark and wife, Nadeen, also of Kalispell, Robert and Tina of Seattle, Stephen and Debbie of Phoenix, Michael and Donette of Helena; and sister, Lynnette and husband, T.J. Nilan, of Washington D.C. He is also survived by his grandmother Cora Jensen of Belgrade, with whom he was very close.

Darryle's passion was golf. He was a scratch golfer and won many tournaments. He played all across the United States. His hobbies also included hunting, fishing, and horticulture. He enjoyed the out of doors.

At the time of his death Darryle was employed at the Spokane Country Club as an irrigation specialist. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and the friends he made while working there.
