Eleanor Stella Myers, 84

Eleanor Stella Myers, 84, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 14, 2007, at the Brendan House in Kalispell, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Cut Bank to John and Anna Price.

Eleanor married Leslie Myers in 1941 and homesteaded in Alaska soon after. They returned to the Flathead Valley in 1968.

After Les passed away in 1962, Eleanor founded the Bingo Babes group, who met nearly every Wednesday for 13 years to play bingo and socialize. These times spent with friends and family were always her greatest joy.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Rose Royland.

Eleanor is survived by her five children, John Myers, Sheila Richardson, Roberta Mackman, Karen Wrzesien, and Debbie Osgood. She had 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, all whom she loved dearly.

A small gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the Moose Lodge in Whitefish.

Arrangements are with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
