Man reports missing meth money

A man on U.S. 2 near Kila reported a theft to Flathead County Sheriff's deputies. The money he was going to use to buy meth had been stolen. He also stated he was tripping on mushrooms. Deputies gave the man a ride home.

A beagle was tied up without a doghouse on Browns Meadow Road in Kila. A concerned neighbor called animal wardens, who determined the dog was not being mistreated. The neighbor requested another animal warden.

A car that had been reported missing on Blacktail Road in Lakeside was returned with damage.

A man who says he was assaulted at Majestic Valley Arena isn't sure whether he wants to press charges.

Deputies received another report of property stolen from a vehicle on Kokanee Bend. That makes five reports in two days.

An elk horn carving was stolen from a residence on U.S. 93 near Whitefish and pawned.

A man called deputies requesting they remove three vagrants from his South Cedar Drive home. The vagrants, who were gone when deputies arrived, believed they had permission from the man's son to be there.

A woman jumped out of a car and began fighting with a man on Willow Glen Road.

Electrical equipment was stolen on Trumble Creek Road.

A box for invoices, checks, and cash was stolen from a business on Whitefish Stage Road.

Employees of a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen wanted a panhandler removed from the premises.

Items appear to have been taken from a shed on Mudlake Road in Bigfork.
