Whitefish police arrested a 23-year-old man outside Casey's Bar early Sunday morning in connection with picking up his resisting girlfriend and throwing her over his shoulder, and then pushing another woman who came to her assistance. A little later, police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of taking a public leak behind Casey's Bar.

Police and the county's Alcohol Enforcement Team ticketed a 19-year-old man and several teens early Sunday morning on suspicion of possessing alcohol at a party on Iowa Avenue.

Police arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving on U.S. 93 West early Sunday morning.

A 37-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of hitting his girlfriend at their home.

On Sunday, bears were seen in a tree along Hazel Place, going through a yard on Birch Point Drive and rooting through a garbage container on Reservoir Road.
