Robert Hall, 67, of Whitefish, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from natural causes.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Janice Hoepfer Hall, in Whitefish; a daughter, Margaret Hall, in Viroqua, Wis.; a son, Andrew Hall, and wife, Kelli, in Riesel, Texas; a sister, Margaret Harper, in Oakdale, Calif.; and granddaughters, Layla, Melissa and Kimberlee.

Bob will always be remembered as a skilled and creative silversmith, with a talent for working with elk ivory. He was known to many as "Uncle Bob" for his kind and generous nature.

Bob retired from the Columbia Falls Aluminum Company in May of 2003. Many people knew him from the Farmers Market and other local craft fairs.

His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at the United Methodist Church in Columbia Falls.

Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish is in charge of arrangements.

The family has suggested that donations be made to the charity of choice in Bob's name.
