Man takes beer bottle to the head

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies

A man allegedly entered a home on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse and hit a man inside on the head with a beer bottle. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded, but the victim refused medical attention and declined to press charges.

Thieves tore up a coffee kiosk and an animal clinic, escaping with a small amount of cash, on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

An 18-year-old woman reported missing from a Happy Hollow Road residence showed up an hour and a half after deputies were notified.

A silver Ford Taurus stopped on the shoulder of Montana 35 in Bigfork with a crying woman inside. The car was gone when deputies arrived.

Windows were broken out of a car parked on River Place.

Deputies told an intoxicated man passed out in a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen to go back to his camp site.

A woman was spotted stealing jewelry from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, but escaped before authorities could apprehend her.

Kalispell Police

Vehicles were rifled through on Woodland Avenue, Stratford Drive, and Fifth Avenue East. CDs were stolen from a car on Teal Drive, a coat and prescription medication were stolen from a car on Sunnyview Lane, and a car parked on East Center Street had a window broken out.

Kalispell police arrested a 28-year-old man for stealing beer from a convenience store on Second Avenue West.

Pills and a cell phone were stolen from a purse at a Second Street East bar.

Four boys were seen messing around on the roof of the Woodland Park swimming pool.

Four or five people were seen dragging furniture out of a North Meridian Road residence and breaking it. Turns out it was their stuff.

Three uncooperative customers of an East Idaho Street restaurant tried to leave without paying their bill.

A license plate was stolen off a motorcycle parked inside a Carnegie Drive garage.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old man for violating an order of protection after he visited a Fourth Avenue East residence.

Columbia Falls Police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 45-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

The keys and a six-pack of beer went missing from a car on Fourth Avenue West.

An iPod was reported stolen from the high school.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a motorcycle accident on Conrad Drive. The rider, who had a cut head and sore ribs, refused medical attention.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Lakeside Quick Response Unit, and ALERT helicopter responded to a crash on Blacktail Road. A 15-year-old girl was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with cuts on her arm and head.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on C Street.
