Polson drops C-Falls in tennis dual

POLSON - Polson's undefeated tennis squads cruised to an easy Western A dual victory over Columbia Falls on Thursday.

The Polson boys won 6-1 and the PHS girls rolled 7-0.

"Karston (Erickson) had a hard-fought victory over Jake Ronish (Columbia Falls) at No. 1 singles," Polson coach Bob Hislop said.

"Mattea (York) and (Sarah) Marcille (Columbia Falls) had a nice battle with York coming out on top."

Erickson won 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 and York 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

Polson, 4-0 in duals, holds a dual tournament this weekend with Whitefish, Anaconda, Dillon, Ronan and St. Ignatius. Each team will play four duals over the course of two days.
