Flathead Valley Sheriff's Deputies

A 54-year-old Coram Stage Road man called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to report his neighbor, who was allegedly cutting down trees and burning branches on the man's property. The disagreement was settled, but the man who called deputies had two outstanding contempt of court warrants and was arrested.

A 20-year-old man is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl after she gave him a ride home then went inside to use the bathroom. Detectives searched the man's home Sunday. A group of people, their identities yet unknown, came looking for the alleged suspect at residences on Mountain View Drive and East Reserve Drive. On at least one occasion threats were made.

A 41-year-old man found somewhat unresponsive in the parking lot of a fire station on U.S. 2 in Evergreen was arrested on a warrant for writing bad checks.

Whitefish police arrested a 21-year-old man on warrants for obstructing an officer and contempt of court after he turned himself in at the station.

Columbia Falls High School

Money was reported stolen from two lockers at Columbia Falls High School. Columbia Falls police investigated.
