Lillyen Paige Hiland, 5 months

Lillyen Paige Hiland "rested her head in the arms of Jesus," on Aug. 5, 2008, of SIDS. Born March 8 in Kalispell, Lillyen was a bright-eyed, beautiful infant who brought overwhelming love and joy to each member of her family, most of all to her own proud and doting mother.

This amazing little girl held an innocent power that changed her mother's life and strengthened the bond between other family members. She brought out the best in the adults in her life, and was an unfolding miracle and a blessing to the children and adults alike.

She is survived by her mother, Chandra Hiland; father, Rick Houseal; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Kim Mitsch; maternal great-grandparents, Bob and Lynn Orsua, and Jack and Merle Hiland; maternal uncles, Kent Hiland, Tyler Trefney, Thomas Trefney and Kyle Trefney; maternal great-aunts and -uncles, Lance Hiland, Austin and Lisa Lake, Dan and Tiffany Burgad, and Jay and Lorene Hiland; and second cousins, Melissa, Matthew, Megan and Michael Lake, Tomi, Olivia and Easton Burgad, and Samantha Hiland; paternal grandparents, John and Theresa Houseal, and John and Ann Nelson; paternal great-grandmother, Beulah; paternal aunt, Crystal; and paternal uncles, Paul and Steven.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral chapel, 525 S. Main, in Kalispell, with Pastor Kenny Prewett officiating. Burial will be after services at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
