Flathead County sheriff

A homeowner on U.S. 93 told Flathead County sheriff's deputies the neighbors threatened to either shoot or poison their cat.

Sheep got loose from a Park Street residence and invaded a neighbor's yard, allegedly causing some damage.

Deputies told a group of people with their tent pitched in some trees near a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen to move along.

A passer-by reported seeing a group of people smoking meth in a vehicle near Lake Five.

A juvenile was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries in an assault on U.S. 93 South. Deputies have not contacted the suspect, and the case is under investigation.

When her husband failed to return home on time, a West Glacier woman called deputies to report him missing. Turns out he had a flat tire.

A Lynnewood Drive woman told deputies her daughter and her daughter's friend had been threatened.

People on the roof of a bar at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40 turned out to be friends of the owner, who told deputies the situation would be handled privately.

A rafting company reported an employee missing. The man has not been located.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of an open-container violation and a warrant for a past open-container violation after responding to reports of an intoxicated pedestrian on South Meridian Road.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old man on a warrant for traffic offenses and a 23-year-old man on suspicion of an open-container violation while investigating reports of a suspicious person on West Montana Street.

A First Avenue East resident told officers he believes someone tried to break into his home after finding his door damaged.

Officers were unable to find two people riding loud motorcycles in the Teal Drive area.

An Oberlin Loop man got into a domestic squabble with his son and his son's wife after asking them to move out of his house.

Four people reportedly smoking marijuana in a car at Woodland Park were gone when police arrived. But while there, officers ran into a different group of juveniles out after curfew and notified their parents.

A man parked his car on the patio of a First Avenue East residence and then threatened one of the tenants.

Someone reading a book in a car parked on First Avenue West aroused a resident's suspicions.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police found a cooler full of beer in an alley off Central Avenue. Procedure dictates the beer be destroyed.

Somebody reported a man in the parking lot of a mall on U.S. 93 with his shirt off and pants low, "showing stuff."

Officers received 52 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

A backpack was stolen from a vehicle at a shop on U.S. 2. Columbia Falls police took the report.

Officers received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Somers Fire Department, Lakeside Quick Response Unit, and Kalispell Fire Department responded to a three-car crash on U.S. 93 South. Injured occupants, one of whom was briefly trapped, were taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Main and Center streets, where a small amount of fuel had spilled.

The Kalispell Fire Department also responded to a two-vehicle, rollover crash at the intersection of Fourth Avenue East and Second Street.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to East Reserve Drive where a pickup and car collided. One person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Creston Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Talbot Road.

The Big Mountain Fire Department responded to Big Mountain Road, where a tree was reported to be on fire.
