Margaret (Stinson) Ziebell, 89

Margaret (Stinson) Ziebell, 89, beloved wife, mother and artist, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008. She was born in Oshkosh, Wis., on Dec. 22, 1918, the daughter of Orrin and Adelaid (Mabbott).

She graduated from Oshkosh High School and then attended Oshkosh Teachers College for two years (now UW-Oshkosh).

She married George Ziebell on July 4, 1940, and lived in Oshkosh.

Margaret was a homemaker who raised two children. She was an artist of various painting mediums and crafts. Margaret and George retired to the Neihart area around 1973 and then moved to Bigfork around 1978. Margaret continued to paint and enjoy boating on Flathead Lake. After George passed away in 1983, Margaret lived for several years in Waukesha, Wis., and then returned to Montana until her passing.

Margaret's family especially thanks the caregivers at Wel-Life Assisted Living and the Heritage Nursing Home in Kalispell. Margaret's last days were spent in peace and comfort because of the great staff at Heritage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George.

Margaret is survived by son, Bruce Ziebell, and his wife, Janice, of Pewaukee, Wis.; granddaughter, Christine Isakson, and great-granddaughter, Katie Ann Isakson, of Ashburn, Va.; granddaughter, Melissa Trudeau, and great-grandsons, Jake Trudeau, Daniel Buss and Joseph Buss, of Oconomowoc, Wis.; son, Tony Ziebell, of Pewaukee; and sister, Eleanor Franske, niece, JoAnn Franske, and nephew, Michael Franske, of Racine, Wis.

Funeral services for Margaret will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral chapel, 525 Main St., Kalispell, MT 59901; followed by the burial in Lonepine Cemetery in Bigfork next to her husband, George.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 201 S. Last Chance Gulch, P.O. Box 721, Helena, MT 59624-0721.
