Timothy Harold Peltier, 75

Timothy Harold Peltier, 75, died July 2, 2008, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Whitefish.

Tim grew up in Eureka and attended both grade school and high school in Eureka. As a child and young man he spent many happy summers at the Shea ranch, north of Eureka, with his grandparents, George and Mabel Shea. After leaving Eureka, he traveled and worked numerous places in the southwest.

He eventually married and settled in Albuquerque. He worked in various lumber mills in the Albuquerque area.

After retirement, he made many trips back to the Tobacco Valley to spend time with old friends and family. He especially enjoyed visiting family and going to Therriault lakes and attending the fair and 'bull thing.'

Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta, of Albuquerque; and his parents, Victor H. and M. Marie Peltier, of Eureka.

He is survived by five sisters, Faye and husband, Ed Stoken, and Dorothy and husband, Charles Newton, all of Eureka, Carol and husband, Joe Robbins, of Conrad, Mary Peltier of Columbia Falls, and Rita and husband, Henry Frank, of Dallas, Ore.; three brothers, Victor D. and wife, Betty Peltier, of Redmond, Ore., Joe and wife, Teresa Peltier, of Eureka, and John Peltier of Kalispell; one aunt, Ruth Anderson, of Kalispell; a stepgranddaughter, Sheryl Schlect, and husband, Doug, of Albuquerque; a companion of many years, Della Fisk; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim will be missed by many.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery in Eureka.
