Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to a Birch Grove Road residence after a man and his 16-year-old son got into an altercation over possible drug use. Both parties were counseled.

A Shady Lane woman told deputies her husband bruised her hand during an argument.

Someone knocked the lock off the door to a coffee shop on U.S. 2 and Reserve Drive, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Christmas lights outside a business on Bridge Street in Bigfork were vandalized.

CDs, more than two cases' worth, were reported stolen from vehicles on East Oregon Street and Cynthia Drive.

A woman in a black jacket trying to flag down passing vehicles on Helena Flats Road was reported as a possible traffic hazard.

A Badrock Drive resident reported receiving a death threat from his soon-to-be ex.

The manager of a trailer park on Shady Lane found a loaded syringe and called deputies to destroy it.

Deputies arrested a 15-year-old Graham Lane boy on suspicion of family member assault after he allegedly hit his mother.

The owners of a Riley Lane residence returned home to find the back door kicked in.

A woman who got sprayed in the face by mold or mildew remover called emergency personnel. She did not need medical treatment, but her call was forwarded to poison control.

A man and his girlfriend at an Evergreen apartment got into an argument, but neither party opted to press charges. Deputies dealt with a similar situation between a man and his sister at a motel on U.S. 2.

Vehicles slid off the road on Edgewood Drive, Braig Road, Good Creek Road, and Montana 40. No one was injured.

Mail was reported stolen on Trumbull Canyon Road.

Deputies received 131 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

Security officers at a Center Street mall called Kalispell police after receiving reports that a man was harassing customers and following women around the building. Despite his efforts to barricade himself in a nearby vehicle, officers told the man to move along. Later, officers were called back to the scene when a second man showed up at the vehicle, which eventually had to be towed because everybody was too intoxicated to drive.

A man threatened to either blow up or burn down a pawn shop on West Idaho Street.

Rocks were thrown through the windows of vehicles parked on First Avenue West and at a school on Three Mile Drive.

An Empire Loop woman called officers to report that her boyfriend, who had just left, punched holes in the wall and took off with her phone so she couldn't call for help. He also allegedly threatened her with a gun.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation after responding to a disturbance on First Avenue West.

Two people fled from a grocery store on East Idaho Street without paying for a cartload of groceries.

A woman on 10th Avenue West asked police to help her retrieve her keys from her boyfriend, who took off after an argument.

A woman on Second Avenue West told officers an intoxicated man tried to grab her and then get into her car. He was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Officers received 75 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after responding to a downtown disturbance.

Officers received 32 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The South Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports of a chimney fire at an Apple Lane residence.

The Whitefish Fire Department and medical personnel responded to crashes on Voerman Road and U.S. 93 near mile marker 129, but no one was injured.

The Evergreen Fire Department was dispatched to Montclair Drive after someone involved in a traffic crash complained of whiplash. The patient was treated but not taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to an East Montana Street bank after a woman was found slumped over the wheel in a car in the parking lot. Turns out she was fine and just waiting for somebody.
