Subdivision entrance vandalized

Someone shout out the lights and vandalized the sign at the entrance of a subdivision on Eagle Rock Drive. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded.

A snowboard was stolen from the back of a pickup truck on Mission Way and two guns were stolen from a residence on Montana 40.

Someone tried to kick down the door of a Swan River Road residence but failed to get inside.

Deputies responded to disturbances on Three Mile Drive and on U.S. 2 near Kila.

Gunshots were heard on Kaeding Creek Road, but deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

A 3-year-old child reported missing on Martini Lane was soon located and returned home.

Deputies responded to a tobacco shop on North Meridian Road after the store's burglary alarm went off. Investigators found some broken glass, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Deputies were called to break up a domestic disturbance on Farm To Market Road outside Whitefish. The parties involved were counseled.

Deputies received 127 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell

Kalispell police responded to a bar on U.S. 93 South after the bartender went outside and discovered a badly beaten, intoxicated man. The man declined to press charges.

Two boys reported missing from a theater on U.S. 93 North were found inside the building, unharmed.

A Ponderosa Street resident called to report inappropriate phone conversations between a man and a minor.

Two men fighting at an Airport Road bar left before police arrived.

A woman's ex-boyfriend allegedly started banging on her car window when she drove up to a bar on Woodland Park Drive.

Someone broke into a van parked outside a food bank on Sixth Avenue West.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old man on a warrant for failure to comply with court orders when he appeared for court.

Officers received 66 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish

Whitefish police arrested a 35-year-old woman on a felony warrant for fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs. She was taken into custody at North Valley Hospital.

Officers received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls

Columbia Falls police received 22 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Smith Valley Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to a crash on Valley View Drive.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were paged out to a rollover crash on White Basin Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were also paged out to Springcreek Road after a vehicle ran into a ditch.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash near the intersection of Meridian Road and Liberty Street. A vehicle reportedly hit another vehicle broadside.

The Whitefish Fire Department was called to a residence on Second Street East after an occupant began choking.
