Edna Margaret Hagen, 51, passed away of natural causes Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at her residence in Kalispell. She was born April 9, 1957, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to David C. and Mae (Stevenson) Svinth.

Edna always felt proud to be called a true Idaho spud and was nicknamed "Little Bit." The loving wife of Curtis Dean Hagen, Curtis affectionately called her "Honey" and she was a mother of numerous children, experiencing loss in childbirth.

She had a warm heart and was caring and kind to all, despite her fight for 17 years with disabilities, ailments, surgeries and difficulties of different medical natures. Her interests included traveling, and watching and helping others grow spiritually for Jesus. She enjoyed watching TV, especially detective shows, friends and coffee at Mike's Syke's in Kalispell, and playing with her Labrador puppy. She was talented and gifted in poetry, and belonged to national societies. Edna loved collectibles such as dolls and she enjoyed framing pictures. Edna would want everyone to respect each other and love and be kind this holiday season to others less fortunate, because "her zest and zeal for heaven is granted before God, and Triune He is."
