Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested a 16-year-old Birch Grove Road boy after he got into an argument with a parent. The boy reportedly had tested positive for drug use, prompting the altercation.

Two cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen from a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen.

Deputies responded to an altercation between a man and his son near Olney. One of the men involved left, and the other declined medical attention.

People on Willow Glen Drive got into an argument about money, but left before deputies arrived.

In separate calls, deputies were called to remove unwanted people from residences on Farview Drive and Montana 35.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on U.S. 93 near Whitefish and separated the warring parties.

Vehicles were broken into on South Cedar Drive. Other vehicles parked outside a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen were damaged.

A Sunset Drive resident allegedly received some harassing phone calls, prompting a complaint to deputies.

Deputies received 135 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

A Third Street West woman told her roommate that three other people forced their way into the residence, distracted her, and then made off with a computer. The roommate called Kalispell police.

An iPod was reported stolen at Glacier High School.

Three 16-year-old boys were arrested in connection with possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and violating their probation at a motel on U.S. 93 South.

An East California Street girl told police her mother's boyfriend threatened her. Turns out she was having a disagreement with her stepfather over some discipline issues.

Officers responded to Main and Idaho streets after a man on a three-wheeled bicycle allegedly threatened a passing driver and then bumped the vehicle with his bike.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with shoplifting after he allegedly stole clothes from a store in a Center Street mall.

An intoxicated customer of an Airport Road bar called to report a stolen wallet.

A room at a motel on East Idaho Street allegedly was vandalized by a guest.

Two men were spotted fighting at a motel on First Avenue East, but neither elected to pursue charges.

Officers received 91 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received reports that a black Chevrolet pickup was stolen from outside a residence on Wisconsin Avenue.

A kid walking home from Whitefish High School allegedly kicked and damaged somebody's fence.

Officers received 48 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a gas station on U.S. 2 after someone vandalized the tires on a person's car. Later in the day, an employee of another business on U.S. 2 returned to his car to find the back window shot out.

Officers received 29 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to a home off Whitefish Stage Road after a water heater started smoldering.

The Creston Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded to Bachelor Grade Road after a car slid off the pavement and crashed.

The West Valley Fire Department and Smith Valley Fire Department responded to East Bowman Drive after residents discovered smoke in the house.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire on Fourth Street West, but the smoke turned out to be coming from the contents of a pan burning on the stove.

Bigfork Ambulance responded to a restaurant on Montana 83 after somebody fell and injured an arm. The patient was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
