Snowskate Jam has international flair
Fifty-five contestants of all ages and skill levels entered the Whitefish Winter Carnival Yeti Snowskate Jam last weekend in Whitefish.
Contestants were from the Flathead Valley and as far away as Montreal and Saskatchewan, Canada.
Locals skaters Bjorn Ryan-Gorman and Max Konopatzke recently returned from the Winter X-Games, where Ryan-Gorman placed third and Konopatzke won the Best Trick award.
Some contestants were first-time snowskaters.
