David O. Dearing, 53

David O. Dearing, 53, of Whitefish, 'fell peacefully asleep' of natural causes Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at his home in Whitefish.

David was born May 30, 1954, in Kerrville, Texas.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and his grandchildren.

He was a longtime employee of the Crestwood Resort and the Pine Lodge, both in Whitefish.

He will be missed dearly by his wife, Kathy Dearing; a sister and brother; two daughters; two sons; and a 'bushel' of grandchildren; along with many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Conference Room in the Pine Lodge Motel in Whitefish.
