Sophomore Jackie Mee led the Loggers with 19 points and freshman Jaime Gilden added 11.

"We were down 10 at one time, 23-13, in the second quarter," said Libby coach Jim May.

The Loggers fought back to 23-20 by halftime.

"I just thought we hung in there and, just kind of two points at a time, we battled back."

The Loggers led 50-41 with 1:40 left, but Whitefish, sparked by senior Ashley Ferda, came back with a couple of 3-point goals and free throws to make things interesting.

Ferda finished the night with 26 points - she had six field goals and was 11-for-14 from the line.

"But we held it off," May said.

Hageness was 5-for-6 from the line and Dedrick 3-for-4.

"That's what seniors are supposed to do," the coach said.
