Gary Duane Gilley II, 49

Gary Duane Gilley II, 49, passed away on Dec. 19, 2007, at his residence in Kalispell.

He was born on Aug. 24, 1958, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Gary Duane and Beverly Irene (Brown) Gilley. He was raised and educated in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1976.

He worked for many years at Plum Creek Lumber in Evergreen on the green chain and also worked for Schellinger Construction in Columbia Falls maintaining the equipment, and most recently was working at NW Truss in Kalispell.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed most being around family and friends and telling stories and jokes. He was also an avid reader.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandfather.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Beverly Gilley of Kalispell; two children, Jamie Pierce of Overland Park, Kan., and Logan Nosbush of Minnesota; a brother, Mark Gilley, and wife Laurie, and their children, Jason and Danielle, all of Columbia Falls; Valarie Galloway and husband, Rex, and family of Kalispell; Teresa Miller and husband Brad, and children, Tabatha and Erica of Kalispell; and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
