Rollover

| January 4, 2008 1:00 AM

Responding to his first accident since he became Flathead County's public works director, Dave Prunty shovels gravel out of a plow truck that rolled off Tronstad Road north of Kalispell on Thursday morning. The driver was not injured.

Twenty minutes later, a county snow plow collided with a car on Montana 35 near the intersection with Middle Road. No one was seriously injured, but one person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The pair of crashes involving snow plows were just two of seven accidents to occur within two hours of each other Thursday morning.

Two cars collided on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls and a car rolled over on U.S. 2 near Springcreek Road. There were no injuries.

Perhaps due to the snowy driving conditions, cars ran off the road on U.S. 93 at Parkhill Drive in Whitefish, U.S. 2 at Grove Street in Columbia Falls, and U.S. 93 at Ponderosa Lane north of Kalispell. No one was injured and damage was minor.
