The sticker in the back window said "Super Mom," but the caller didn't think the woman was so great. She'd left her child in the car - which was parked in a no-parking zone. The vehicle was gone when Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrived.

An intoxicated man fell asleep in an Evergreen store's restroom after eating a hot dog there. Store owners agreed not to make him pay for the hot dog if he would just leave.

Homeowners on Foothill Road and Arbour Drive were suspicious of the unfamiliar vehicles parked at the bottom of their driveways, so they asked deputies to investigate. In both instances, drivers had gotten stuck while attempting to turn around.

A driver who'd fought with the highway patrolman who stopped him for a hit and run later went to the hospital for lacerations he may have sustained in the accident.

A Woodland Drive resident said her 12-year-old daughter is getting strange, anonymous phone calls on her cell phone.

While investigating a reported loud party on Haven Court, deputies arrested a man on a $50,000 warrant for negligent vehicular assault. Another partygoer was wanted on a $125 warrant for drug possession.

A woman thought maybe her neighbors stole her puppy; they'd seemed to show quite an interest in it.

A caller advised deputies of drug activity between two Evergreen stores.

Anglers participating in a fishing derby in Olney kept trespassing on her property, she said, and derby officials had refused to tell them to stay off her land.

Several vigilant citizens called dispatchers to advise them of slick roads.

Deputies received several reports of kids throwing snowballs at passing cars. At highway speeds, snowballs can shatter vehicle windows.
