A few reminders about dog ownership

A Rhodes Draw resident returned home from plowing snow to find a copy of the county's dog ordinances, with certain sections highlighted, stuck to his door. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies took the call.

Vandalism was reported at the Evergreen Junior High School.

A 15-year-old girl was being harassed in the hallways of Bigfork High School.

An Evergreen woman wanted her ex-husband to leave her alone. A phone call from deputies settled the matter.

Deputies counseled a Cougar Trail man and his ex-wife, whom he had accused of trespassing.

A rented space heater was stolen from a construction site on Big Mountain.

An East Oregon Street resident captured a cat that had been on the prowl in the area for several days.

A theft was reported at a Flathead Drive residence.

An 11-year-old boy went missing somewhere between Hungry Horse Elementary School and his home. It turns out the boy had turned around halfway to his house and returned to the school, where his grandfather found him 40 minutes after he was reported missing.

Two cars ran off the road on U.S. 93. No one was injured. Cases of cars sliding off the road were also reported on Hodgson Road, Mud Lake Road, and U.S. 2 south of Rose Crossing.

Two men, who had been drinking, got into a fight at a Lakeside bar. No one was arrested, but detectives will forward their report to the County Attorney's Office for possible charges.

A gun was stolen from a car at a repair shop on Montana 35.

Copper wire was stolen from a Flathead Electric Cooperative substation in Columbia Falls.

A fight was reported at Bigfork High School.
