Bradley James Fisher, 45

Bradley James Fisher, 45, died on Dec. 17, 2007, in a tragic car accident near Vallejo, Calif.

He was born Feb. 13, 1962, in Kalispell, graduated from Flathead High School and worked many years in the valley.

Bradley will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. His good nature and keen wit often kept people laughing heartily.

Bradley was a member of the Ironworkers Union, Local 378 and for eight years enjoyed his work on bridges in the Bay area including the San Francisco Bay Bridge, the Al Zampa Memorial Carquinez Bridge, and the Benicia Bridge.

He was active in his union and felt strongly about the importance of political involvement.

He was an avid skydiver of many years and a dedicated fisherman. Bradley especially treasured his fishing trips with his son Alex. Brad enjoyed being a father and was proud of his son's accomplishments.

He is survived by his son, Alex and wife, Judy of Vacaville, Calif.; and by his father, Ray Fisher, of Weehawken, N.J. Bradley is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Adrian Fisher of Weehawken, Michael Fisher of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Eric Fisher of Cupertino, Calif., and Kimberly Fisher of Honolulu.

He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Severance Fisher in 2002.

Memorial services will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Vacaville Elks Lodge at 302 Parker St. Friends are welcome to honor Brad's life.
