Calahill 'Cal' S. Dodd, 83

Calahill "Cal" S. Dodd, 83, "went home with the Lord" on Jan. 15, 2008, in Kalispell.

He was born July 5, 1924, in Hot Springs, S.D., to loving parents Clyde and Hilda (Merwin) Dodd.

Cal's ready smile and giving nature will be sorely missed.

Cal was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Dottie; siblings, Jim, Lloyd, Rusty, Mary, Johnny and twins departed at birth.

Cal is survived by siblings, Ralph Dodd, of Rapid City, S.D., Evelyn Adams of Sioux Falls, S.D.; his treasured daughter, Susan, and husband, George Dofelmire; grandchildren, Dodd and Shelly Sterner and children, Shalada and Josh, Kimmy Moore and children, Chris, Alyssa and Dallas, Chelle Taylor and children, Ailla and Laicey, all residing in the Flathead Valley, Dennis Sterner and children, Amanda, Noah, and Thaddeuss of Spokane; and great-great-grandchildren, Brandon, Logan and Vallanier.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday Jan. 21, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Nye officiating.
