Alarm was not cause for alarm

When the malfunctioning siren on the Evergreen Fire Department went off early Friday morning, a Harmony Road resident called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to report an air raid.

Deputies served a $25,000 warrant for criminal endangerment on a 36-year-old Lake Hills Court man.

A woman told deputies somebody stole her father's hearing aid at a Bigfork retirement home.

Several men parked a black SUV in a random driveway on U.S. 93, prompting the driveway's owner to call deputies. Turns out they had hit a deer, which damaged their car, and were waiting for a friend to come pick them up.

An Elk Park Road woman told deputies her mother-in-law threatened to turn her in and have her kids taken away, but didn't say what exactly for.

A vehicle hit a moose on U.S. 2 near that road's intersection with Lodgepole Lane.

A Grayling Road man and his wife got into an argument about the state of their finances. Deputies were called back to the residence some hours later when the couple started fighting again.

Deputies responded to the parking lot of Evergreen Junior High School where three boys, ages 14, 15, and 16, were involved in a fist fight.

Deputies separated a man and his 16-year-old son after responding to a verbal disturbance on Jensen Road.

An East Evergreen Drive woman gave her husband a fat lip. He didn't want to press charges and went to stay at his sister's house for the night.

Deputies responded to a motel on East Idaho Street where a woman told them she had been assaulted by her live-in boyfriend.

A woman living in a trailer park on Helena Flats Road told deputies her boyfriend hit her in the mouth. The boyfriend told deputies they were laying in bed when he turned over and accidentally smacked her. They spent the night apart.

A Conrad Drive woman said she was assaulted by her boyfriend and hit her head on the bed.

A Terry Road man accused his father of hitting him while he was sleeping.

A Haven Court man met a woman at a party and took her home. When he awoke, she was gone. Along with his car and half a tank of gas.

A Lakeside man stepped outside to see a woman spinning brodies in his yard. When she pointed the car in his direction, he whipped out his gun and shot out one of the tires. The woman took off on the flat tire, but was soon pulled over after first refusing to stop. She was eventually taken to a mental health facility.
