Easy go, easy come back

The man whose car was gone Friday morning - as was the woman he'd met at and brought home from a party the night before - got his vehicle back Friday evening when it was found in a parking lot. He said he didn't want to pursue charges against the unidentified woman.

When an intoxicated man woke up from his nap on a bench outside a restaurant, he headed inside and started yelling at the customers. Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested him for disorderly conduct.

During a visit to the Dumpsters on Montana 82, a man started rummaging through another man's pickup. The vehicle's owner asked him to stop and then got back inside his pickup; when he did, the other man reportedly started beating the truck with a stick.

A Hungry Horse woman said a neighbor's cat and six kittens weren't being cared for properly. Her complaint was unfounded, and she admitted that she hadn't seen hide nor hair of the felines for three weeks.

An audio system was swiped from a car on Tamarack Lane.

A possible elk poaching report was turned over to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

A woman reportedly received a death threat on her cell phone Friday night.

A caller was concerned for the "very young" woman standing with a sign and her dog on an Evergreen street corner. Deputies investigating the report found a not-so-young woman who was in good health.
