Last duals for Braves, Wolfpack

The dual wrestling season for Flathead ends where it all began - at the FHS gym.

The Braves, ranked No. 10 nationally in Amateur Wrestling News and No. 14 in Win Magazine, host Helena Capital and Helena High tonight at 5 and 7, respectively.

The Braves are 18-0 in duals.

Flathead opened the season on Nov. 30 versus Butte. The Braves cruised in that home, and season opener, 64-7.

Glacier High School also wraps up its dual season today, facing Helena High and Helena Capital at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively.

Glacier and Flathead will then head for Helena and the Western AA seeding tournament on Feb. 1-2. The state tournament follows Feb. 8-9 in Billings.

Flathead had two duals earlier this week canceled. The Braves were scheduled to face Whitefish Tuesday, but WHS did not have a full lineup.

On Thursday, Flathead's trip to Missoula Sentinel was canceled because both schools were in the middle of academic finals.
