Robert Lee 'Bob' Tyler Jr., 69

Robert Lee "Bob" Tyler Jr., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at the Colonial Manor nursing home after a long struggle with a chronic disease.

Bob was born Feb. 11, 1938, in Louisville, Ky. He served his country as an aircraft mechanic in the Navy from 1955 to 1971, and continued in that occupation in civilian life.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee; and his brothers, George Edward, James Douglas and Samuel Joseph.

He is survived by his mother, Mary; his sister, Catherine; his brother, Mike; his children, Tina, Kathy, Robert and Tony; plus 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for Bob's family. There will be no visitation.
