Frank Miele, Managing Editor

Frank Miele has been managing editor of the Daily Inter Lake since April 2000 and has worked at the paper since January 1984. He has worked as front-page and wire editor and as entertainment editor, and also spent nine years as contributing editor of the Flathead Business Journal. He previously worked at the Los Angeles Daily News and the Bismarck (N.D.) Tribune. He is married and has three children and lives in Kalispell.

Mr. Miele writes a weekly column entitled "Editor's 2 Cents." He is a former finalist for the Bastiat Prize for Journalism, and was awarded first place for Best Serious Column in the 2011 Better Newspaper Contest held by the Montana Newspaper Association.
