Bettie Lucille Jones, 76

Bettie Lucille Jones, 76, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, in Columbia Falls. Bettie was born June 3, 1931, in Sedalia, Mo., and lived there through high school graduation.

Primarily a homemaker, Bettie had worked as a soda fountain manager, pharmacist's assistant, and as a tree nursery assistant.

She enjoyed bowling in local bowling leagues, was a church song leader, and assisted with various community drives.

Bettie also enjoyed being an RV enthusiast, doing crafts, sewing, camping, fishing and hiking. She just loved the outdoors and the Arizona desert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Gamber and Della Lucille (Buckley) Gamber.

She is survived by her husband, Allan, of Columbia Falls; sons, Stephen Eslie Lemens of Sunrise Beach, Mo., Gary D. Lemens of Dresden, Mo., and Ronald G. Lemens of Versailles, Mo.; sisters, Adaline Vannoy of Sedalia, Mo., Sue Roxstrom of Maple Valley, Wash., and Laura Mae Moon of Hughesville, Mo.; brothers, Charles W. Gamber of Missouri, and David R. Gamber of Broomfield, Colo.; grandchildren, Veronica, Amanda, Mathew, Nicole and Shannon, all of Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Brett, Blake, Breighton, Ethan, Brennan, Izabell Savannah and Layther Vance.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 14, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
